LEGACY MARTIAL ARTS
A Philosophical Approach to Combat!
It is the direct prerogative of Nichols' Legacy Martial Arts to isolate individual arts such as Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu, Boxe Française Savate, American Boxing etc., from one another, so as not lose the true meaning of martial ART.

Fighting in and out of ranges does not necessarily signify the mixing of martial arts. The use of knees, elbows, round kicks, takedowns, joint submissions, etc. does not mean one is performing Muay Thai or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Instead, one is simply striking and submitting. Just as a house needs a solid foundation, so too, does a martial artist need a base, from which to measure, and relate to all other arts.

For those who wish to compete, Nichols' Legacy Martial Arts is dedicated to leading individuals to victory, in the ring, whether it is amateur or professional, whether you are a novice or an experienced fighter.
At Nichols' Legacy Martial Arts, fighters and coaches are one. Just as a General needs an army, an army needs a General. At Legacy, such is the relationship between fighters and coaches.

Legacy's belief is that mixed martial arts should be just that - mixed martial ARTS. If one wishes to cultivate Muay Thai to the true level of ART, then Muay Thai must be isolated on all levels, from history, to culture, and so on. Thus, the same applies to the Filipino Martial Arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu, Boxe Française Savate, American Boxing, and any other art one wishes to pursue.
